Clearwater Conservancy is selling raffle tickets for the newest in the series of paintings representing their land aquisition projects. The painting will be in the window at Appalachian Outdoors from November 10 till the new year. Tickets are for sale at App Outdoors, and Saints cafe.

RAFFLE - Jennifeer Kane original oil painting of Tussey View Farm
$10 raffle tickets are available now through January 22, 2010. The winner will be drawn at "For the Love of Art & Chocolate."
Famed local landscape artist, Jennifer Kane, is creating a 30" x 40" commemorative original oil painting of Tussey View Farm on Tussey Mountain, for ClearWater Conservancy to raffle in support of future Land Conservation Program projects. Tussey View Farm contains the headwater springs that feed the main stem of Spring Creek, east of Boalsburg. This fall, ClearWater will be closing on a conservation easement on this property and a portion of the land will be transferred to the PA Bureau of Forestry and added to Rothrock State Forest.
This is the third painting in a commemorative series of works by Jennifer Kane based on ClearWater's conserved lands. The painting is valued at $3,000.
